When does school start after the summer in the USA?
I would like to know the approximative date of school start after the summer holidays in the following states (please answer only if you're sure.): 1) California 2) New York 3) or other states/cities you know the date of. thanks so much!

The end of August or begining of September and I am sure each district is different, I doubt there is a state wide start time.

After labor day. The school is considering to change it to before labor day. For NJ at least....

I live in the USA, how come everyone/school always focuses on Europe/Asia but not Australia
I live in the USA, how come everyone/school always focuses on Europe/Asia but not Australia?
I hear nothing about Australia, no history, or anything so I know nothing about Australia besides the crocodile dude and that there are kangaroos...haha.

Which is the best science major to get into medical school to become a cardiologist
Which is the best science major to get into medical school to become a cardiologist?
I know biology, biochemistry or any science major is good as long as you take the "right" classes. BUT which major is the best? also which is the best medical school in the USA? if you have other information that is helpful pleeease dont hesistate to tell. THANKS!

There is no best major. Any major (science, humanities, engineering, social science, etc) can get you into medical school. Pick the one that you are most interested in, as this will lead to a higher GPA. Harvard and Johns Hopkins are viewed as the best medical schools and constantly fight for the number 1 spot.
2 :
There is no special science major. I would take one that let me do research work to get my application noticed. SO it really depends on your interest. Now as far as cardiology first you must finish med school. Everyone graduates the same MD. Its the residency that you apply for after medical school that determines what kind of doctor you will be. But take it one step at a time. First just try to get into a US medical school.
