It is no longer difficult to be placed on the honor roll. It used to be only the best, in the harder classes, would be placed on it. Now a lot of school have reduced their expectations, the work load in a lot of systems has been dumbed down. The course no longer have to be the harder ones. They wanted to make more kids proud but in reality, that have taken the honer away for superficial ego boosts. End results are kids getting awarded for doing whats expected, not going above and beyond.

It depends on what classes you take really. I took pretty difficult classes in high school, like AP classes (for college credit) and honors classes and things like that, and for me it was really difficult, but if you took easier classes, it wasn't that difficult to make honor roll.

You must maintain a high GPA. Or get A's and B's in all classes. Some schools have high honor roll, which just means keeping a higher GPA all year. It takes going to all classes, handing in all work on time, and getting good grades on all work, quizzes and tests.

requies dedication but isnt difficult to get, we have a load of people in NHS (national honor society) which requires 2 extra cirrcular at school and 2 more out of school all the while maintaing a 3.5 GPA that is cummlative (basically works on 5.0 principle instead of 4.0)
