Recommended number of classes taken in Graduate School in the USA

Recommended number of classes taken in Graduate School in the USA?
How many classes are recommended to be taken per semester/term (say if each term/semester lasts for 3 - 4 months), during Graduate School in the USA? In the UK, for my Undergraduate Degree I have 4 classes per semester and I also work 20 hours a week. So for Graduate School in the USA I was thinking of taking 5 classes per semester, each being 3 Credits, with no or less hours of work. Do you think that's too much? What is the average number taken? Thanx in advance =) Only one answer =( Thanx anyways =)

Most times- two courses is considered a full-load depending on the program and school requirements. I know each school has their own standard. I recommend from experience to take one graduate and two undergraduate schools if you work full-time.

Ok, the popular kids- the one's that are popular. They know a lot of people Whos not-The freaky people... unless their funny What kids respect-clothes, girlfriends/boyfriends what do they do after school-Party, hang out, sleep Do they study- NO, except for a few.

The kids in high school that are popular are the "pretty" ones, people with lots of money that drive their parents' cars to school, etc. Just because they are popular, however, does not mean they are respected. Usually the most "popular" people are the ones you love to hate. There are so many different groups of students, it's hard to put it in a short answer. It also depends on if you choose to stereotype or not. After school, most students have jobs. After all, most of us have to save up for college. If your parents are paying or if you have scholarships, however, sometimes you have time to study. Yeah, its really hard to put into a short answer. *I guess according to Marissa, I would have been one of the "freaky" people. I was not popular in high school. I had a few good friends, and my "group" that I fit into most would be the Art people. I think calling people freaky is taking it a little too far, though.

I don't know about vocational schools, but colleges will not refund you all or part of the money if you drop out of their classes after a certain deadlines have passed. They usually have this information on their website or you can ask at their business office to give you this information. I would expect that your school has a written policy for refunds. Ask to see it and read all the fine print and proceed from there. It probably will depend for how long you attended the school before changing. But the first place I would go for help is any counseling office they have at your current school. They will be interested to keep you and they should be able to help and advise you.
