Does anyone else but me think it's sad they don't teach cursive writing in grade school anymore

Does anyone else but me think it's sad they don't teach cursive writing in grade school anymore?
I imagine this applies to USA schools only? Here's what some of you may not know about cursive writing. It's a faster way to write and prettier if you can do it legibly. And I think I phrased the question wrong. I meant that our school systems are thinking about dropping cursive from their curriculum

No. I too thought so, but times are changing and we need no writing at all. Typing and paperless transactions through text and e-mail is gaining momentum.
2 :
no. do you think it's sad that people don't use a feather to write anymore?
3 :
The problem is computers. No one wants to write anymore. People use their cell phones and instant messaging. Computers create problems. We are using computers. This is a problem.

I think it is sad. What will you do if your laptop breaks down?

What are you talking about? of course it is still taught. I cant believe how many respondants at ya take what people say without question.

Wait really? I'm in high school currently and once we were in second grade in elementary school we learned cursive. Ontop of that you were required to write only in cursive until you were in 9th grade.

Well, I don't know what schools you are talking about, but we still teach it here in California. I teach 4th and its a standard. It may be on its way out, but we still teach it here.

well it depends where you want to go.. You need first to decide which city and then you may google in on the internet.. the best thing is to talk with them ... not with us.. haha we don't know.. the exact prices.. the only thing that i can tell u is.. Public high schools are free!! -Good Luck! Take Care! รข™¥

If you're 22, you can't attend high school. If you are done with the equivalent of high school in your country you could attend a junior college, and it depends on which, but these could be rather affordable. Google whatever school you want to go to, and you'll find your more detailed answer.

Um it really depends on what your looking for but it can b btwn 10 - 14,000 a year which is very expensive but if your 22 i doubt you'd be in hs. I think your talking about college which can b 20-45,000 a year easily depending on the school

Is there a high school with a good Radio/Television/Film program

Is there a high school with a good Radio/Television/Film program?
We we live there is an EXCELLENT school with a performing arts emphasis, but my son likes to be behind the scenes -- doing sound or running the camera or scripting the story, etc. And the performing art schools don't have a program for this. They dance, draw, sing, play music, or act. They don't do the technical production. Are there any good high schools in the USA with specialty programs for kids interested in RTF careers?

Locally, we have a school called Buckingham Charter Magnet High School in Vacaville, CA. They offer full college prep as well as an emphasis on RTF, including their own film production company and international film festival. P.S. They are the best school around this area and have a waiting list.
