Hey Rakib, By 1900, 31 states required children to attend school from the ages of 8- to 14-years-old. As a result, by 1910, 72 percent of American children attended school. Half the nation's children attended one-room schools. In 1918, every state required students to complete elementary school. Lessons consisted of students reading aloud from their texts such as the McGuffey Readers, and placed emphasis on rote memorization. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_education_in_the_United_States -- This site, has a table that lists when each state enacted their compulsory schooling law: http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0112617.html Here's a college level history article that goes into great depth about the history of compulsory education in the US: http://www.eric.ed.gov/ERICDocs/data/ericdocs2sql/content_storage_01/0000019b/80/32/d2/1b.pdf Good luck! I hope this helps! :)

Kids in the United states generally get out of High School at 18, but some can be 17 or 19 depending on when they were enrolled. After you graduate you can choose if you want to go to college
2 :
yeah most of us graduate when we're 18. or 17 almost 18. high school for americans is 14-18 yrs old.
3 :
we go to school until 18 .. and then majority of ppl go to college (almost everyone) some take time off or go rite to their career. but yeah highschool is from 15-18 & u can drop out at the age of 16
4 :
we get out of school around 17-18 and most go to college but you can do whatever you please.

Im not from america , but im pretty sure its the same everywhere. 1-9th grade is 7/8-15/16 then 10-12 16/19 and then college.
6 :
age is a vague way to put it, idealogically we leave at 18, but i am older then most of my class and will have been 18 for 6 months before i graduate. we have to do 12 years of schooling and get a certain amount of credits.
7 :
We start school between the ages of 4-6 depending on when your birthday is compared to the starting of school. We can quit school at the age of 16 (or you could at my school several yrs ago, but you don't get to graduate thus no diploma) but graduate from school at 17-19 again depending on what age you where when you started school. High School is grades 9-12 and ages are usually 14-19 for the 4 yrs. Middle School is 6-8 or 7-8 in some places Elementary School is K-5 or K-6 again in some places

In America high school ends when we are 18. After that we go to college if we choose to. (almost all high paying jobs require at least two years of college.) We have to apply to a college and get accepted before we get in. After college there are more schools that we can go to if we want. these are Graduate School, Law School, and Medical School. Some jobs require one of these for example Lawers have to go to Law School and Doctors have to Medical School. Graduate School is for people who want to further their knoledge in one or more subjects, for example my Dad went to Graduate School to further his knoledge as an English major. (a major is a type of Degree you can get. I say this because i don't know if you have those in the U.K.) The grades go like this: Elementry School = Kindergarden - 5th grade (K,1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th) Middle School = 6th grade - 8th grade (6th,7th,8th) High School = 9th grade - 12th grade (9th,10th,11th,12th,) the grades in high school are called "classes" and the classes in order are Freshman= 9th grade, Sophmore=10th grade, Junior=11th grade, Senior=12th grade

Easiest Medical School that is accredited by the USA

Easiest Medical School that is accredited by the USA?
So I'm an undergrad and I was wondering what the easiest med school to get into is? I'm concentrating in the Caribbean region but the only schools that I can find are Ross, Saba, and St. George. Any other schools that are accredited?

That's it for the Caribbean. University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico, is well regarded internationally. NOT easy to get into, and not easy to complete the program successfully! If it's accredited in US, it is not easy. Med school is very demanding. And admission to any med school is very competitive.

You need to major in Spanish and get into your college's teacher education program, which includes classroom management courses as well as an internship. You must also take your state's teaching certification exam.
