When are the school holidays in Minnesota and South Dakota? I am planning to travel from London to Minneapolis and the Rapid City area and would like to know if places of interest are likely to be busier in June, July or August. Thanks. James

Most schools in the US are already on Holiday. I don't know about Minnesota or South Dakota for specific days. I live in Pennsylvania and my kids started their Holidays on June 6th. A town about an hour away was a week after that. Most schools across the US should be starting holidays by the end of June if not sooner. So, Yes, many places of interest will be busier during June, July, and August. Holiday usually end in the first couple of weeks in September.
