I'm going on a high school exchange to America very soon and i'm really nervous. I come from Australia and i will be starting half way through their junior year, and i make friends easily but i'm just nervous that they will all have their friends and i'm going to be a loner. Will i be able to slip in and make friends? and will americans not like me because im australian?

You'll be at least superficially popular, since you'll be new, and everyone will want to know about you, and your cool accent. Try to make friends, and don't steal any boyfriends/girlfriends, and you will do fine.
