I am thinking of taking the GMAT for admission in USA B SCHOOL


I am thinking of taking the GMAT for admission in USA B SCHOOL...?
Will it help me and enable me in getting a Job to work in USA after MBA and also to settle there permanently?? I know that it depends if I get into top 10 MBA schools... bUT WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER B SCHOOLS? Also What about the Financials? Tip also about preparing for GMAT and other admission procedures? Also I am from INDIA... Please give detailed answers... with links to further material if possible... Appreciate your help !!!

where did you hear that you may settle in the states permanently if you get into the top 10 MBA schools????? There is no guarantee for you to get a green card even if you have a ph.D ! I think as long as you can find an employer in the states where they can sponsor you to work in the states, you can apply for the work visa or the green card eventually. If you get into a better business school, you may have a higher chance of getting employed (but again, no guarantee). Afterall, two of the best schools are moore school of business of university of south carolina and the kelley school of business of indiana university- bloomington. They are not that difficult to get in. Study hard for your GMAT! It helps!
